Wednesday, December 10th, 2008
California Breathing, a program within the California Department of Public Health, and the American Asthma Foundation are hosting a two-day summit highlighting the latest in asthma research. The summit will bring together a variety of asthma stakeholders to share and learn about the most current findings in asthma etiology, and identify gaps and future directions for research. Leading experts will discuss cutting edge research in the following areas: genetic factors, disease etiology, the role of environmental exposures, the role of infections, and mechanisms of allergic response, among others. The summit will be held in San Francisco on Wednesday and Thursday, December 10th and 11th. More information and registration materials will be coming soon and will be posted on http://www.californiabreathing.org. Questions can be directed to Deanna Rossi at 510-620-3635.
